Abstract

The ecoRelevé platform is a set of open source modules aiming at eliminating the daily burden of data management. ecoQuery is the semantic extension of the data connector; it demonstrated how species observations can be harvests from the linked data cloud (LOD) in order to enhance existing user datasets. We specifically focus on demonstrating how SPARQL queries can be generated from a simple graphical user interface in order to hide the underlying complexity. The mapping component seamlessly displays the points on the maps in order to allow them to be reviewed by the users.
