The DINA consortium is an international partnership for distributed collaborative development of an open-source, web-based information system for managing and sharing natural history collections data. Target collections include living collections, observation records and molecular data. DINA Collections is the short name for the software repository hosted at github which contain source code, documentation and other relevant materials for the DINA open-source DIgital NAtural History Collections Management system.

The DINA system consists of software components that are being developed by an international network of natural history museums collaborating under the auspices of the DINA International Consortium.
